The Buriat language is one of the Mongolic languages. It is a living macrolanguage with ISO 639 code [bua].
Buriat is native to Buriats and Barga Mongols. This language is distributed in Russia (Buriatia) and China. The total of speakers is about 330'000. The Cyrillic and Mongolian scripts are used for writing.

A database of the project includes 460 lemmas translated in Buriat.
Multi Linguis offers 3 types of dictionaries - Original, Learner's and Small.
The Original Dictionaries are alphabetical, while the Learner's and Small are frequency-thematic.
The Original and Learner's Dictionaries can include up to 12'000 lemmas. They are divided into 8 importance levels from Beginner to Upper-Intermediate (corresponding to the CEFR levels A1-B2), as well as 300 vocabulary themes grouped into 30 superthemes.
The Small Dictionaries are sets of vocabularies of related languages, each includes up to 999 lemmas.
Entries in any type of books contain translations and transliterations. In the Learner's and Small Dictionaries they additionally provide transcriptions.
